Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

There is a Metro Bus that runs from Dulles airport to the station at the end of the Silver Line, which is one station away from the Springhill station by the hotel. It runs frequently both ways. It is the primary way that people flying into Dulles can connect with metro trains into DC.

METRO ( Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority)
Our hotel is located just two blocks from the Springhill Metro Station. From there you can get into the DC area on the Silver Line. You can take the Metro and ride directly to the Smithsonian Metro Station for just $3.85 each way. The trip takes 37 minutes. Trains on the Silver Line run approximately every 8-12 minutes M-F, every 12 minutes on Saturdays, and every 15 minutes on Sundays.

Seniors age 65 and older can get reduced fares on the Metro rail and bus lines. You just need to buy a Senior SmarTrip Card for $2. Then you can add an amount of your choice to the card and touch it to a fare gate or fare box to have the cost of your trip deducted from the card with the senior discount applied. The closest place to the hotel to buy a Senior SmarTrip card is the Connector Store at Tysons-West Park Transit Station which is two stops away from the Springhill Metro station.
